This is Aapeli's list of good places to eat in New York City, and fun things to do (eventually). Mostly for me to keep track of good places and share with friends.

Rating Methodology

This site uses the following rating scale:

Phenomenal: pretty straightforward, it's awesome food and you should make a detour for it.
Good: good place, good food, worth a visit if you're nearby or craving that type of food.
Inoffensive: it's okay, you might consider it if you're really craving that kind of thing.
Bad: just don't go there.
